ActiveFiler 2009 is now available. It has full support for use from latest versions of Word, Excel and Outlook as well as easier integration with Wordperfect and third party products. Filing control is now also easier and more sophisticated control is now available.

The new Web site is live. Now there's much more information available and a comprehensive FAQ section as well as full site search. Hopefully now it's much easier to get an idea of what ActiveFiler can do and how to set it up. |

Yes, finally an Outlook connector has been made available! Also the email address and name of the sender or recipient can be used to within ActiveFiler. So you could receive an email from a customer, click the "Auto-file" button in Outlook and have it saved to that customers folder in your system, along with all the Word documents etc. that relate to them. |

Folder monitoring has now been added by popular request! It seems people want to use ActiveFiler with scanners for example. The image is scanned, appears in a folder and ActiveFiler sees it, wakes up and does it's stuff - filing it away in the right place. Read more... |

Earlier versions of ActiveFiler did not have the facility to clean-up data, i.e. removing unwanted characters such as slashes from data destined to name a folder or file. Thankfully remote support allowed the problem to be identified and fixed at one London law firm. |
