The provision of clause (9A) stipulates the amount of capital gains tax that is payable on the sale of immovable property. Shall be reduced by 50 percent on the first sale (75 percent after 3 years); if the property is acquired by ex-servicemen and serving personnel of the Armed Forces or former federal and provincial government employees or employees of the government.
