An E- Kachehri is held every month since 27 September 2021, where Chairman FBR listens to every complaint and problem faced by the taxpayers and then provides complete solutions. Civilians who pay taxes and have any queries related to any tax related issue can call on the landline number provided by the FRB to register their complaints. Chairman FBR ensures that they acknowledge their complaints and recommendations and offer proper solutions to ease things for taxpayers.

As a follow-up to monthly E-Kachehries held to comply with Prime Minister of Pakistan’s directives, Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR)/Secretary Revenue Division, Dr. Muhammad Ashfaq Ahmed, hosted an E-Kachehri at FBR (HQs) on Friday 26 November 2021, to listen to taxpayers’ issues and concerns. The complainants met with the Chairman of the FBR immediately.

The Chairman of the FBR listened to the taxpayer concerns and offered on-the-spot instructions for complaint settlement. He acknowledged taxpayers’ recommendations and told them that they would be considered in developing tax policies and initiatives for taxpayers. Moreover, he emphasized that the FBR was doing everything necessary to help taxpayers. He also recommended taxpayers, to approach their nearest RTO and Collectorate of Customs for assistance with any problems they may be experiencing.

It was stated by FBR’s Chairman that all field formations must address outstanding taxpayer complaints and that their failure to do so will not be tolerated.
